The 9/11 events changed the world forever. More than 9 years have elapsed since the Sept. 11 attacks on the World Trade Center in 2001 but the controversy rages on as to what really happened on that fateful day.
Conspiracy theories abound as to what really caused the WTC collapse. Like other tragedies, such as the attack on Pearl Harbor and the JFK assassination, there are many people who don’t accept the official explanation. There may be good reason to investigate the WTC collapse, and questioning conventional wisdom is a healthy and essential part of humanity.
Hijacked United Airlines Flight 175 from Boston crashes into the south tower of the World Trade Center and explodes at 9:03 a.m. on September 11, 2001 in New York City. The crash of two airliners hijacked by terrorists loyal to al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden and subsequent collapse of the twin towers killed some 2,800 people.
The official explanation of the collapse of the WTC buildings has to do with the steel infrastructure. Steel melts at a very high temperature, but loses most of its structural integrity well before the point of melting. Burning jet fuel set the building on fire, which weakened the steel beams to the point that floors above the burning areas collapsed downward. The force of the impact drove each successive floor downward, which could give the appearance of a controlled demolition. The air the building contained blew outward as it collapsed, which can also look like a planned demolition.
Did the WTC collapse or explode? Most people believe that it collapsed. However, Former Minnesota Governor and retired pro-wrestler Jesse Ventura went on TV yesterday to discuss his unanswered questions about what happened on 9/11. Jesse Ventura and other conspiracy theorists believe the WTC did not collapse.
On “Follow The Money” with Eric Bolling, Ventura discussed the questions in promoting his Conspiracy Theory show on Tru TV. After a heated exchange, Ventura pulled out a picture of the World Trade Center towers and said, “You tell me, is that a building collapsing or a building exploding? That is a building exploding. It didn’t collapse, it exploded.”
Another high profile proponents of the 9/11 truth movement — people who think the WTC collapse was an inside job — is controversial radio talk show host Alex Jones. Web properties run by Jones such as Prison Planet and Info Wars have many posts related to the collapse of the WTC buildings
Evidence indicating that the collapse of the World Trade Center was a controlled demolition has been propelled back under the national spotlight following the University of Copenhagen’s announcement that dust obtained from the rubble of the twin towers contains evidence of highly explosive material.
The energetic material that was found in the WTC dust by an international team of scientists led by Niels Harrit of the University of Copenhagen in Denmark, consists of “nano-engineered iron oxide and aluminum particles” that “exhibit the same characteristics as advanced energetic materials developed in US national laboratories in the years leading up to 9/11.”
The red chips have “no reason to be in this dust” points out an Architects &International Engineers for 9/11 Truth story concerning the samples and could not have been naturally produced from either the impact of the jetliners nor the collapse of the towers, unless a highly pyrotechnic explosive was used to implode the towers.
“This follows the discovery, by the United States Geological Survey and others, of high concentrations of unusual previously molten iron-rich microspheres in the WTC dust. These microspheres can only have been formed during the destruction of the World Trade Center at temperatures far higher than can be explained by the jet fuel and office fires. Those fires, we are told by engineers employed by NIST, the National Institute of Standards and Technology, were allegedly the cause of the World Trade Center’s destruction. The discovery of this advanced energetic material, in the form of red/gray chips distributed throughout the dust, both explains the iron-rich microspheres and confirms the inadequacy of the official account of what happened that tragic day.”
A video has surfaced recently and according to it, a secondary explosion caused the lobby of WTC to implode. This controversial video was released by NIST, after a lawsuit by the International Center for 9/11 Studies. This footage shows two firefighters who were called on duty during the terrorist attack. They were near the building at that time and were discussing about a huge explosion they had heard before the WTC collapsed.
This video shows two witnesses whose mission was to save people’s lives in a chaotic turn of events. One of the firefighters is covered in blood, as he was in the middle of the collapse and their conversation is very clear: “There was an explosion. The third explosion the lobby collapsed on us.” Asked by a reporter, the second firefighter backs up his colleague’s rendition of the events: “Yes,it was. Definitely secondary explosion.”
There were other people who said the same thing as these two firefighters including WTC janitor William Rodriguez, supervisor Anthony Saltalamacchia, and ABM janitorial services employee Kenneth Johannemann. Anthony Saltalamacchia, a morning supervisor stated that: “The amount of explosions I heard from 8.46 to the time we got out was so many-at least ten- it was just multiple explosions to where I felt there was different grenades, that’s what it sounded like, like different grenades being set off in the building”.
It is now public knowledge that footage of WTC collapse had been edited to try and hide evidence of controlled demolition. And the 9/11 Commission completely ignored the hundreds of survivors, professionals, first responders, firefighters and police who reported numerous secondary explosions at all levels of the twin towers.
Do you believe the conspiracy theory that the U.S. government sponsored 9/11 to start a war? A war that has killed thousands and cost billions of dollars? All these conspiracy theories really seem insane but based on the new evidence, I am not so sure anymore.
