Kim Kardashian bared all for W Magazine “Art Issue”  back in November last year, creating a huge buzz then.  Now the photos are once again a top Google trend because they were featured on “Kourtney and Kim Take New York” on E.

Kim Kardashian in silver paint on cover of W Magazine

In the photos, Kim Kardashian was totally nude, with some text bars covering up her “assets” on the W magazine cover but in the feature within the magazine, she was completely nude, except for silver paint.

Interestingly enough, Kim had just recently been upset about her Playboy photos that were released in 2007, expressing regret for having done the Playboy photos.  Will Kim Kardashian’s nude Silver Paint photos soon be an additional regret for the 30-year-old socialite?

She sure looks a bit "plumb"

Japanese beauty Haruka Ayase held everyone in the media spellbound when she was in Singapore recently to promote Japanese skincare brand SKII.

Haruka Ayase

The 26-year-old beauty made her showbiz debut in 2000 as a gravure idol (bikini star) and is often photographed in bikinis and other skimpy outfits.

Haruka Ayase

Alluring Haruka Ayase

But she has since established herself as an actress with a string of accolades under her belt, including the Best Actress title at Japan’s Television Drama Academy Awards last year for Hotaru no Hikari 2.

But it was Cyborg She, a cute love story between a guy and his cyborg girlfriend that shot her to international stardom.

When asked if she will play up her sex appeal in her future works upon a director’s request, Haruka said: “I have shot a mineral water commercial in bikini before. I guess if the character that I’m playing and the theme of the drama or movie call for it, I don’t mind being sexy.”

Now you know why she is such a famous bikini star!

The actress is rumoured to be dating Takao Osawa, her co-star in the 2008 movie Ichi and the 2009 drama Jin. But all she could say about the veteran actor was, “He had my respect as a co-actor.”

As for Takuya Kimura, her co-star in the 2009 drama Mr Brain, Haruka said he was very strict and responsible on set, and she has learnt a lot from his professionalism.

Haruka Ayase, real name Aya Tademaru, was born on March 24, 1985 in Hiroshima Prefecture. Her immediate family consists of her father, mother, and one brother. As a youth, Haruka was active in sports, playing basketball in middle school and competing in the Chugoku region Ekiden tournament (long-distance relay race) during junior high school. Then, during her freshman year in high school, Haruka started her career in the entertainment world by successfully auditioning for the 25th Horipro Talent Scout Caravan.

Haruka started her career first as a gravure idol, releasing a photobook and DVD. She then branched off into acting landing small roles in televsion dramas, with the 2003 Fuji TV drama “The Way I Live” (Boku no Ikiru Michi) making a positive impression on the public. Her career then went into overdrive with her popular performance as Hirose Aki in the 2004 TBS televsion drama “Crying Out Love, in the Center of the World.” Haruka beat out 723 contestants for the role of Hirose Aki in “Crying Out Love, in the Center of the World.”

Isn't she pretty?

More recently, Haruka has become just as popular on the big screen performing as the leading actress in such films as “Cyborg She” “Happy Flight” “Ichi” and “Oppai Volleyball.” Her diversity as an actress should also be noted as Haruka performed as a cyborg in “Cyborg She”, an airline stewardess in “Happy Flight,” blind swordswoman in “Ichi” and a junior high volleyball coach in “Oppai Volleyball”.

Sweet and sexy

Haruka has also created a successful career in music, releasing her for first single “Period” in 2006. Her debut single went straight to #8 on the weekly Oricon singles chart. She also released two other singles, “Kosaten Days” (2006) and “Hikoki Gumo” (2007), which received similar levels of success.

Deborah Henry is the new Miss Malaysia Universe 2011

“I am honoured and privileged to be representing Malaysia on the world stage,” said Deborah, who is of Indian-Irish descent.

“I’m in it to win it. If I never take part in this, I will never know how far I will go for the rest of my life,” added the 26-year-old.

Deborah, who won the Miss Malaysia World title in 2007, was selected by popular vote via the pageant’s official Facebook page combined with the views of a panel of judges.

The panel comprises Andrea Fonseka, who is the national director of the Miss Universe Malaysia Pageant (MUMO), local actor Hans Isaac and Russian beauty expert Julia Dolmatova.

Fonseka, who took home the Miss Universe Malaysia title in 2004 said they chose a contestant with experience as they do not have the time and resource to groom a greenhorn.

“There are no rules that say a former winner of other beauty pageants can’t join the Miss Universe pageant,” Fonseka explained.

She added that Trincy Low, who won the Miss World title in 1995, also went on to win the Miss Universe title in 1997.

Other finalists who made the list for Miss Universe Malaysia 2011 include Gail James, Cassandra Patrick, Jennifer Pedersen, Kelly Jagan, Mourhna Reddy, Patricia Sue-Lin Kundsen, Stefanie Chua and Thanuja Ananthan.

Deborah will represent Malaysia at the Miss Universe pageant in Sao Paolo, Brazil on September 12.

Miss Universe Malaysia 2012 will also be crowned in September this year as part of the pageant’s new format that aims to provide more training for future contestants.

“Latin American nations typically have up to 12 months to train their contenders while we’ve had to compress this process into just three months,” said Fonseka.

“We believe that future contestants will have a better shot at winning the Miss Universe title now that we have a longer period to train them,” she added.

Miss Universe Malaysia is part of the international Miss Universe franchise owned and managed by the Trump Organisation in joint venture with NBC Universal.

Deborah Priya Henry (born July 7, 1985) won Miss Malaysia World 2007 and represented Malaysia  in Miss World 2007. She is notable for having been selected in the top 16 Miss World Final, the highest achievement of Malaysian Miss World contestants since Lina Teoh in 1998.

Oprah Winfrey has been teasing about a big family secret that she would reveal on her show yesterday, and she did not disappoint: Oprah introduced her heretofore-unknown half-sister, Patricia.

Oprah and her sister Patricia

Welcoming single mother of two Patricia to an emotional reunion on her daytime talk show, Winfrey said her mother Vernita Lee gave birth to a sister in 1963 when Oprah was 9 and kept the birth a secret, giving the baby up for adoption.

“Imagine my shock just a few months ago, at the end of October, when I found out I have another sister living just 90 minutes away,” Winfrey said.

“For the most part my life has been an open book and on the show I think I’ve seen about everything. And I thought nothing could surprise me anymore, but let me tell you I was wrong,” she told viewers.

Patricia, whose last name was not revealed, said she had been raised in foster homes since age 7.

Patricia said she had tried years ago to learn the identity of the woman who gave her up for adoption, and only started to try again a few years ago at the insistence of her two adult children, who also appeared on Monday’s show.

Patricia said she feared her search would be fruitless after she got a telephone call from the state adoption agency, which reported that her birth mother had been contacted and did not wish to meet her.

But, coincidentally, on the local news that day, she saw a story about Winfrey’s mother, who described how two of her children had died. Those details matched information Patricia had seen in adoption papers, which indicated she had two sisters and a brother, and that only the older sister was alive.

Winfrey’s mother, Vernita Lee, also disclosed that one of the deceased children was named Patricia.

“The hairs on the back of my neck stood up,” Patricia said. “Because I knew one of my siblings and I shared the same name.”

Later, she found more details that matched, including the fact that Winfrey was born in 1954, the same year as the woman Patricia knew was her surviving sibling.

Patricia said she first learned she was Winfrey’s half sister in 2007, but kept it a secret because she knew it would create a media frenzy.

“She never once thought to sell the story,” Winfrey said, describing how she felt betrayed by other relatives who sought publicity.

Winfrey recalled how her other sister revealed to the press years ago that Winfrey had become pregnant at 14 and had had a baby when she was a teenager. The baby, Winfrey has said, died shortly after birth. And she talked about putting her sister in rehab twice for drug addiction, but that her sister ultimately passed away.

The discovery is “the miracle of all miracles,” Winfrey told her audience.

Winfrey, who said DNA tests confirmed that she and Patricia are half-sisters, met with Patricia and their mother Lee in a pre-recorded segment of the show.

Lee, who recently suffered a minor stroke, said she never told Winfrey about her half-sister, “because I thought it was a terrible thing for me to do, that I had done, gave up my daughter when she was born.”

Winfrey said documents from the girl’s birth reveal that Lee gave up the baby for adoption because she did not think she could get off welfare if she kept the child.

“I made the decision to give her up because I wasn’t able to take care of her. So when I left the hospital, I told the nurse I wasn’t going to keep the baby.”

Patricia said she didn’t consider revealing that she and Winfrey were half-sisters to anyone but Winfrey, explaining that she did not want to hurt Winfrey.

“Family business should be handled by family,” Patricia said. “It couldn’t be handled by anyone else. That’s not fair. It wouldn’t be fair to you.”

Oprah Winfrey has teased that she would reveal a shocking secret on her show today. “I thought I’d seen it all,” she says in a promo released Friday. “But this, my friends, is the miracle of all miracles.” She continued: “I was given some news that literally shook me to my core. This time, I’m the one being reunited. I was keeping a family secret for months, and you’re going to hear it straight from me.”

Oprah Winfrey

“I don’t have the least idea of what she has in mind,” Vernon Winfrey, her father, said Sunday from Tennessee.

Winfrey has not commented publicly about Kelley’s 2010 biography, which includes the allegation that Vernon Winfrey isn’t her biological father.

“There has been speculation in the past,” points out In Touch Weekly Senior Editor Amy Palmer, “that Vernon Winfrey is not her actual biological father, so this is something people are saying it could be.”

Winfrey, 57, and various biographies say she was born to unmarried teenagers Vernon Winfrey and Vernita Lee, and raised at different times by a grandmother, her mother, and her father and stepmother in Mississippi, Wisconsin and Tennessee. Two Winfrey siblings, a brother and sister, both have died.

Winfrey has shared painful and private elements of her life before, willingly or not. Her revelation that she had given birth as a teenager to a son who died shortly afterward came after a relative sold the story to a tabloid in 1990. Winfrey has also shared some of her most intimate secrets, ranging from her childhood molestation to drug abuse.

Winfrey even revealed she considered suicide after learning of an unwanted teen pregnancy, telling Piers Morgan, “I was 14 years old and … I thought, before the baby was born, ‘I’m gonna have to kill myself.” ‘

After years of reuniting loved ones, Winfrey is promising viewers the most anticipated one in her show’s 25 year history — and it’s her own, saying, “This time I’m the one being reunited.”

A clip in the promo, presumably taken from the taped episode, shows the back of a shadowy figure walking onstage.

So…what is Oprah’s family secret?

The big “family secret” that Oprah Winfrey has been promising to reveal Monday is the host’s heretofore unknown half sister, according to Kitty Kelley, author of 2010’s unauthorized Oprah: A Biography.

Biographer Kitty Kelley with Vernon Winfrey at the latter's barbershop in East Nashville

Kelley has told Time Out Chicago blogger Robert Feder that Winfrey will be reunited on her talk show with a woman named Bunny who was born to Winfrey’s mother, Vernita Lee, but given up for adoption when she was just an infant because Vernita Lee couldn’t afford to take care of her.

Kelley says her tip came from an “inside family source.” Bunny, she says, is now a grandmother.

Her name is Carlina White. And her story is truly amazing and heartwarming!

Carlina White, who was just 19 days old when she was kidnapped, has been reunited with her biological parents Joy White and Carl Tyson, bringing an end to one of the most baffling missing person cases in the New York Police Department’s files.

Carlina White, now aged 23

Carlina, now 23, was admitted to Harlem Hospital on August 4, 1987 as she was feverish. Her mother Joy was just 16 years old at the time.

Joy said a woman dressed as a nurse at the hospital tried to comfort her as she worried about her sick baby in August 1987.

‘Don’t cry. Everything’s going to be alright’, the woman said to the 16-year-old.

But it was actually a ruse and the woman dressed all in white disappeared with the infant.

Authorities said that the woman had been seen loitering around the hospital for several weeks before the kidnapping.

Joy and Tyson won a lawsuit against Harlem Hospital in 1992 and received a $750,000 settlement.

The couple ended their relationship a year after their daughter disappeared and both went on to raise separate families.

A $10,000 reward was offered for the safe return of the baby girl, but years passed without her return. The parents never gave up hope. They took the money from the lawsuit settlement and established a trust fund for their daughter in the event of her return. Police searched for her kidnappers but never found enough evidence to charge any suspects.

Carlina was taken to Bridgeport, Conn., and, later, Atlanta where she was given a new name, Nejdra Nance, and was raised by a new family, unaware for 23 years that her biological family was actually in New York City.

Photo of Carlina White taken when she was a young girl

Carlina had suspicions growing up that she was not biologically related to the family that raised her in Bridgeport, Connecticut. She said she had never been able to find her birth certificate.

When Carlina was unable to get a driver’s license and saw no biological resemblance to the people she was living with, she grew even more suspicious.

“I was exposed to a lot of stuff at a young age,” Carlina told The Post. “I never really talked about it. There were always drugs lying around. I used to see weapons.”

Her kidnapper and fake mom was an addict and was often in a drug haze.

“They have this moment when they get off the drugs — it seems to turn them into a monster,” Carlina said. “When she woke up, I used to get out of the house.”

And it was in that time period where Carlina said she began her unwavering hunt for the piece of her life she felt must be missing — the identity that her fake mother finally confessed stealing.

“Can I get my birth certificate?” Carlina said she asked her “mom” when she was pregnant at 16. “And she said, ‘I’m going to go ahead and get it,’ but she never bothered herself to get it,” Carlina said.

Refusing to be rebuffed, Carlina rifled through her mother’s purse and found a phony certificate.

“What is going on?” she recalled wondering, and when she confronted her “mom,” “She was upset, she was like, ‘Why did you go ahead and do that? You messed everything all up.’ “I thought, ‘what the hell do you mean?’ ” adding that later that week, her mother finally fessed up to the identity lie. “She was crying on the bed, saying ‘I’m so sorry,’ ” Carlina recalled. “Your mother just left you. She was a drug addict. She probably died of AIDS.”

But the lie did not convince Carlina — she pressed her search for Joy.

“I started looking outside the box,” she said.

She decided to take matters into her own hands and began browsing websites about missing children, including the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and AMBER Alert. A search for her birth year came up with a photo of a baby girl called ‘Carlina Renae White’ and a composite of how she might look in her late teens. These photos were eerily similar to ones present throughout the Georgia house she was raised in.

Carlina White

“It was like looking at a picture of my daughter,” she said. “I thought, maybe this could be it.”

It was.

She then called a hotline and eventually was connected to Joy White, who was forwarded a photograph of Carlina taken when she was still a baby by the family she had been brought up by.

Joy said she recognised her daughter instantly.

‘I was screaming, I was so excited,’ she said. ‘As soon as I saw those pictures I said, “That’s my daughter,” I saw myself in her’.

Even though she knew in her heart that the woman was her daughter, Joy contacted the New York Police Department to see if it could help investigate whether the woman was really Carlina White.

“It sounded legitimate and credible, so I had missing persons reach out to her,” said Detective Martin Brown, who fielded the call. DNA tests performed on Joy White, her ex-husband, Carl Tyson, and 23-year-old Nance matched, police said. Nejdra Nance was Carlina White.

Tyson said he did not need a DNA test to prove the young woman he fathered at 22 years old was his child.

‘I already knew in my heart that this was my daughter’, Tyson said. ‘All I could do is shed tears’.

Carlina, along with her 5-year-old daughter Samani, have now been reunited with her biological parents.

They can’t stop touching one another, they can’t stop looking at one another — their faces mirrors of each other’s past and future.

“When I see my mother, I see myself,” said the vivacious 5-foot-2 Carlina, who could not tear her eyes from Joy.

“I see the smile, the lips the chin, and the legs — we all have flat knees,” she giggled.

“I’m just amazed. I feel like I’m in a dream. I see my face in both my parents. I get my eyes from my father.”

Watching her grown-up baby girl, Joy burst with pride.

“I see myself, too,” she marveled. “I see my face, but with a smaller body,” sweetly hugging the daughter she had longed to hold.

“I see Carl in her eyes. I see my forehead, my eyebrows, my chin.

“She’s just like me,” Joy said, laughing.

“We like the same colors. We like our houses to be clean. We can’t go to sleep without the dishes being washed.”

The mom and daughter listened to one another’s memories of years missing so much.

“Carlina was a missing link and we have gotten her back in the name of Jesus, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah,” Pat Conway, White’s godmother, said.

As part of their investigation, police are talking to retired detectives who handled the case years ago. Because she was so young when she was kidnapped, it’s impossible for Nance to know if she has lived with the same family the entire time.

Police are now investigating the identity of the woman who first kidnapped the baby. Charges could still be brought against those who took baby Carlina as there is no statute of limitations for kidnappings of children under the age of 18 as long as the child is still alive.
