Who is this Jenn Sterger who has caused such a frenzy on the search engines these few days?
Jennifer “Jenn” Lynette Sterger , born November 29, 1983 in Miami, Florida, is a model and television personality, and former online columnist for Sports Illustrated. In August 2008, the New York Jets hired her to be the “Gameday Host” for the team.
She is the model in the ongoing Brett Favre lewd text messages and photo controversy. Brett Favre and Jenn Sterger, both former employees of the New York Jets, find themselves wrapped up in an internet scandal, in which Jenn claims Brett Favre sent inappropriate text messages, voicemails, MySpace messages and even pictures of his genitals.
Sterger, 26, first made a splash in 2005 as she and other sexy sirens in skimpy cowgirl outfits cheered for Florida State from the stands — she was shown on national television wearing a skin tight Florida State beige tank top along with a straw cowboy hat and she created an instant commotion, prompting announcer Brent Musberger to quip that “1,500 red-blooded Americans just decided to apply to Florida State.”
But Sterger didn’t settle for being a pretty face in the crowd. She quickly parlayed her figure and sports acumen into media gigs and a foray into the blogosphere that made her one of the “hottest women of the Web,” according to E! Entertainment.
She posed nude for Playboy, tossed Maxim some curves, penned articles for Sports Illustrated and SI.com, and hosted segments of ABC’s “Race to March Madness.” Sterger is also the “Sports Babe” for Sprint Exclusive Entertainment.
In 2008, she joined the Jets to do pregame interviews with celebs and promotional gimmicks between plays — and apparently caught Brett Favre’s eagle eye. The legendary quarterback allegedly texted her photos of a penis and repeatedly phoned her.
Deanna Favre, Brett’s wife, was upset about the allegations that her husband was having an extra marital affair and the mistress looks exactly like her when she was just twenty!
Sterger yearned for the limelight. Now she has more media attention than she ever could’ve imagined.
